Hello, I am Carolyn Vitale (people who know me often call me "Caro", pronounced care-oh). I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed in the state of California #87835. I like to work with a wide range of folks from 8 year old kids to those aging, and tap into their vitality and wellness. Often with adults I am interested in getting beyond everyday conversation into deeper layers of self, incorporating an inward focus of the body, mind and spirit. I want to assist you to get in touch with your aliveness, or follow your "calling".

I am eclectic and offer a strength-based approach to help with depression, anxiety, transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, PTSD, overall stuckness and other challenges. My approach is humanistic and compassionate, providing the support needed to get through hardships into a more empowered, creative and celebratory self. I have a strong, somatic (body based) background which has been proven to be successful in treating trauma.

I am authentic and open-hearted. I can be serious as well as playful, providing a nurturing and safe environment to work deeply and effectively.  I enjoy working with those from diverse cultures as well as holding an environment of inclusiveness to all sexual orientations and gender preferences.
