Hello, I am Carolyn Vitale (people who know me often call me "Caro", pronounced care-oh). I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed in the state of California #87835. I like to work with a wide range of folks from 8 year old kids to those aging, and tap into their vitality and wellness. Often with adults I am interested in getting beyond everyday conversation into deeper layers of self, incorporating an inward focus of the body, mind and spirit. I want to assist you to get in touch with your aliveness, or follow your "calling".

I am eclectic and offer a strength-based approach to help with depression, anxiety, transitions, relationship challenges, overall stuckness and other challenges. My approach is humanistic and compassionate, providing the support needed to get through hardships into a more empowered, creative and celebratory self. I have a strong, somatic (body based) background which has been proven to be successful in treating trauma.

I am authentic and open-hearted. I can be serious as well as playful, providing a nurturing and safe environment to work deeply and effectively.  I enjoy working with those from diverse cultures as well as holding an environment of inclusiveness to all sexual orientations and gender preferences.
